Estate Planning Designed Around the Advisor Relationship

You’ve helped your clients build and protect their wealth. When it’s time to put an estate plan in place, you need a legal partner who can move efficiently, communicate clearly, and keep you connected throughout the process.

Iowa Estate Planners works primarily through financial advisor referrals, serving clients with approximately $5 million to $25 million in assets. We’ve built our process around the advisor-client relationship, creating a streamlined way to bring estate planning into the broader wealth planning conversation.

Refer Your Client

Start with our secure referral form. Provide your client’s basic information and upload a current financial summary to give our legal team an initial picture of your client’s financial circumstances.

We Review the Financial Picture

Our team reviews the information provided before moving the engagement forward, helping us start the estate planning process with greater context.

With your client’s authorization, you can be given access to the client portal to follow the progress of the estate planning matter and stay informed as the plan moves forward.

Your client works directly with a licensed attorney to discuss their goals, evaluate estate planning options, and make the important legal decisions involved in creating their wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.

Once your client has completed the planning process, made the necessary decisions, and provided the information required to prepare the plan, estate planning documents are typically prepared within two weeks.

Estate planning shouldn’t feel disconnected from the financial planning you’re already doing with your client. We make it easier for advisors to bring estate planning into the broader wealth planning relationship without stepping into the role of legal counsel.
